We're a family run business

the Ignatov family

For Oksana cooking started as a hobby when she was 14 learning her family's traditional Russian recipes.  She went on to run her own catering business in Russia.

After moving to England, Oksana gained a Catering Diploma at the South Cheshire College.    Now, in Upton, Chester she is recreating the traditional cuisine she loves so much with the help of her husband and son.

Fantastic Visit

...on Trip Advisor

I visited today with my son, what a fantastic place. Staff are warm and friendly. Enjoyed a sweet pancake with ice cream, caramel milkshake and pot of tea. Pancakes are so yummy. Great service and menu choice. I would highly recommend. They even do baking sessions for children. Looking forward to returning again very soon.

Little Gem

..on Trip Advisor

I found this place a little gem in just near by Chester Zoo. The staff were ever so friendly and accomodating, nothing was a problem for them and willing to go that extra mile. In the beginning we went for homemade bread baking session for little ones and after that I had beetroot&cabbage soup but my little one wanted the pancakes. This was the first time she finished the pancake and left the ice cream, even though it was delicious too. It was even better that display of matrioshkas was accessible for the kids, it kept her well busy.
Overall, I had a very good time, had a nice chat with the owners and went home with some chocolate cakes for my other half. Such a shame he won't get to try them..

My daughter loved the baking class

...on Facebook

I went for the very first time today and from the moment myself and daughter stepped in through the door, we had the warmest welcome. Oksana is lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We attended the bread making session and my daughter loved it. Afterwards we played upstairs in the secure play area where my daughter was able to roam free without me worrying about her going off anywhere. She then tasted her bread rolls with a drink. Which were very yummy. We can't wait to go back again

Happily Surprised

..on Trip Advisor

The weather was bright so my 73 year old Mum and I took my 96 year old grandmother out in her chair and called in for lunch. The lady behind the counter opened both doors and helped us get the chair in, we were made to feel very welcome, the menu was explained by the owners son who was very chatty and pleasant.
We all had the Borsch which is a type of soup and homemade bread, it was delicious, very tasty and enjoyed by us all.
The owner and her son couldn't have been nicer, very enjoyable.
